The team at Lieser Skaff is honored to announce that managing partners Jeffrey Lieser and Ghada Skaff have both been recognized among the “Legal Elite, Notable Managing Partners” for 2024 by Florida Trend magazine. Well known for publishing distinguished lists of notable leaders in the legal profession each year, such as “Notable Women Leaders in Law” which included attorney Ghada Skaff for 2023, Florida Trend debuted the “Legal Elite, Notable Managing Partners” list in 2023. Both Jeffrey Lieser and Ghada Skaff are humbled to be among the 109 attorneys who were thoroughly vetted and ultimately recognized for making outstanding contributions to the legal profession this year.
To be selected as a Notable Managing Partner, an attorney must first be nominated by his or her peers. To qualify for the list, nominees must be in good standing with the Florida Bar and be based in Florida. In addition, a nominee must currently serve in a managing partner or equivalent role with a professional staff size of at least 10, must have practiced law for at least 10 years, and must have made a significant impact in their field. Finally, nominees must also mentor other attorneys, promote inclusive practices in the workplace, and show leadership in professional organizations and civic/community service initiatives. The selection committee then looks at how each nominee directs and manages their firm, looking for those managing partners who stand out for their dedication, innovation, and contribution to the practice of law. Honorees are then chosen because they “are leaders, for sure, but mostly they are difference makers — not only in local, state, national and global legal arenas but as mentors within their offices and as volunteers throughout their communities.”
Being included in Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, Notable Managing Partners for 2024 among such respected and accomplished attorneys is truly an honor and a privilege. Both partners look forward to continuing to lead, manage, and inspire the incredible team at Lieser Skaff for many years to come.
