When AM Tampa Bay discussed the controversial job description posted on LinkedIn that listed “Preferably Caucasian” as a requirement, they turned to former LS employment attorney Laura Coleman for an expert legal opinion. Laura explained that this type of discrimination is not allowed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) or the state of Florida unless there is a bonafide occupational qualification for limiting applicants.
