The United States and Florida constitutions provide the right to appeal a final decision made by a lower court.
Typically, in order to file an appeal, the lower court must have entered a final judgment. You only have a certain number of days after the entering of that Judgment, to file your Notice of Appeal.
Our Tampa appellate attorneys can help you determine if you are eligible to file an appeal and thus the Notice thereof.
At the conclusion of the appeals process, a higher court will affirm, reverse or remand the lower court’s decision. If the higher court does not rule in your favor, in some instances, you can appeal to the Florida Supreme Court.
It is important that you hire an experienced attorney who is adept in representing clients in the appeals process. At Lieser Skaff Alexander we handle all types of appeals. Our Tampa attorneys are experienced in serving as appellate counsel and have represented clients in intricate business and civil litigation cases at the appellate level.
